Summary: 7 blinks of death at only 3 years old and very little viewing (average of 2 hours every night, no daytime viewing, no kids). SC and SU boards need replacing. Known problem. I'm done with Panasonic.
Summary: TV was great but now 3 years later, 3 weeks after the extended warranty expired my TV has a 3 inch vertical black bar on the screen. I have many TV's and all are still working 100% fine after several years, never had an issue with a TV Before until this one.
WARNING!! WARNING!!! ---- THIS TV HAS MAJOR ISSUES!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!! BUYER BEWARE!!!!

Summary: WARNING!!! WARNING!!! This TV has a major, major defect that everyone should be aware of before they purchase. Panasonic has had major issues with this TV and they don't really stand behind the product when the failure occurs.
Summary: I purchased two version, one 50" and the other 60": Panasonic TCP50S30 & Panasonic TCP60S30... Both TV's are dead in under 6 months! Check the web, Google "Panasonic TCP50S30 8 blinks", "Panasonic TCP50S30 10 blinks", "Panasonic TCP50S30 14 blinks"...
Summary: This was a great TV while it lasted. If you check out the other 1 star reviews for this TV, or google the "7 blinking lights Panasonic", you'll see that Panasonic has a quality issue with their VT30 tvs, possibly even their plasmas made in the past several years.
Summary: I bought this in April of 2012 and it has been used a ton. I work from home and my wife stays at home, we have 3 kids, this thing is ALWAYS on. I have read a lot of horror stories around the 2 yr mark, so I'm holding my breathe that this tv lasts.
Summary: Like many others who purchased this set based on the tremendous reviews the set worked great for two years then failed (search for "7 blinks of death"). Even though I purchased an extended warranty Panasonic has no idea when the required parts will be available to complete the repairs and has not...
Summary: Woke up one morning and put the TV on. After a few seconds it pops and turns off. After that the only thing I got when turning it on was the red power light blinking 7 times. Since it was out of warranty, it cost almost $600 to fix. Had to wait over 2 months for the part.
Absolutely the best TV ..., for a year and a half, then BOOM

Summary: I didn't really expect to have to write this review, because I had been extremely pleased with my Viera. However, it seems there is a design flaw in the Y sustain board, which has impacted untold numbers of buyers. Just check out the Panasonic facebook page.
Summary: I don't want to sound negative, but I felt compelled to write this as a warning to others. I bought this TV in October of 2011 brand new. I got it because it had exceptional reviews for picture quality and overall features. It is a very pretty image.
