Summary: I bought this TV in Sept 2009 from Amazon and it's still going strong. While the TV is a little on the heavy side and the remote is quite average, the picture quality on this sucker is fantastic. I cannot tell the difference between its 720p and my friend's 1080 viera.
Summary: Got this TV over 3 years ago and its still going good. I have the sound hooked up to a surround sound speaker system and never use the actual TV speakers so I don't have any personal input there.
Summary: This is simply an amazing TV. Perfect size, not too big or too small and the picture is crystal clear. HD programs are stunning. The internal menu system is easy and the pedestal base is solid. Not sure what else I can say about it, I have no complaints at all.
Summary: great color, picture and sound. still works just as good today as the day we bought it. can be hooked up to a computer to watch things on the internet which was a great thing for us. nice size, stand works great, and it isn't that heavy.
Summary: I bought this TV at the end of 2009 when our old 56 inch 1080P JVC HD-ILA set died, a TV that we had purchased for nearly $2,500 dollars in early 2007 or 2008 if memory serves me. Summary: Fast service and shipping. I really like the TV,nice picture though as others say sound is no great shakes but certainly good enough. Paid 849.00 with tax and shipping on Aug 2009. Im sold on Plasma, had over 2 years.
Pros: Over 1 year and still the best deal around! Color is still perfect, games look super on this unit, movies too. I recently upgraded my cable service to include HD and my Viera shines with the HD channels! Thanks NEWEGG!
Cons: Volume, volume, volume! The volume is weak when watching movies but fine on TV or gaming, and is superb with HD channels.
