Summary: Not that it matters much, now that this is an 'old' TV by tech standards, but this was an excellent buy. Best TV I've ever owned, overall; and superior to every TV I've owned in almost every way. The picture is outstanding. I went through the tedious break-in period, calibration(s), and all that jazz (though I never had to pay for professional calibration) and it was worth it. Colors are rich & realistic. Blacks are just that -- Black. No dark grey murkiness for me!

Summary: It's all in the description. This TV almost has it all. I have it inside an armoire entertainment system. It looks amazing with this TV. It fits inside perfectly and hides away even better. I have a home theater PC, DVR, PS3, PS2, DVD/VCR and an AV receiver all hooked to this TV. The receiver is an older model without HDMI. The TV does not have analog audio support (red & white). It only has digital/optical. So I had to buy a $25 converter to get surround sound.
Beautiful picture quality and a great buy at the right price

Summary: My old 32" lcd died. I tried a few different LCDs and LEDs before switching to Plasma. I originally had the Samsung PN43D450, and was quite pleased - beautiful contrast and saturation, great sound, great viewing angles, great price. However, after a few weeks the set I had developed a slight problem, and I decided to return it rather than deal with warranty.
Summary: The Viera TC series TV's are the best for the money by far. I bought this because a relative purchased the larger 54" TV, and the picture was amazing, even right next to it. Their design is simple and not over the top, with just a all black border and speakers that blend in. Looks great mounted on a wall. The picture quality is the best that I've seen compared to any others on display at electronic stores.
Summary: This is a great TV. I have not seen a picture like this in a very long time. My friends love it. The speakers are pretty good as well. It gets loud. Bluray is fantastic. I cannot believe how great this buy is. I would recommend this TV to anyone. I have had it now for about a month. Plasma beats my older Samsung LCD out of the water with colors and contrast.
Summary: My first impression was bad, as the Panasonic Viera TC-P42ST30 arrived with an absoloutely horrible picture setup. After a couple hours playing with the settings, I am very impressed and I still will run my calibration blue ray to check my eye settings and tweak it further. There are lots of little adjustments and auto adjustments to turn off, the usual color and picture adjustments and some advanced/pro settings that really dial in a nice picture if setup properly.
Summary: I bought this TV to use with my PC and xbox. Everything works great. +Wifi set up was easy +Apps are pretty fast and pretty good too +Gaming is outstanding. Beautiful colors with approximately 1 frame lag (which is great for an HDTV) +great as a PC monitor. I notice some weird image twitching from time to time, but it happens extremely rare. Text and picture are splendid. -shipping was rather frustrating.
Summary: I have had this tv for about a month now and the picture quality is amazing!! I haven't tried the 3D and do not plan to. I bought the 3D version because the picture quality looked a little better than the 2D only version. This is my first plasma tv and it is everything I hoped it would be. The picture is sharp, crisp and so true to life especially with blu ray. The black levels are oustanding.
Summary: I'm giving it 5 stars for picture and sound (the best sound for a flat panel) Comparing it with the LG (I just returned for 1 bad pixel) the internet options not so great, mostly there is no web browser like the LG. No vudu. As for wall mounding I have to get my own screws, LG comes with the screws. OK no big deal to get screws from hardware store but I don't trust myself to get the right ones. The menu options not near as good as the LG.
