joseph sam, Amazon
22 January 2014
  • Summary: I bought this a while ago. Very good but the only downside is that the app store does not have netflix. I guess with time this would be rolled out with one of the updates.

Excellent quality

T. Chalklen, Amazon
3 June 2013
  • Summary: I never get disappointed by Panasonic and this TV is no exception - very good quality of picture, easy to set up and for the purpose of showing designs, it is ideal. The supplier couldn't have been more helpful as they had a problem with one unit and took the time to ring me and explain.

reflect before you purchase!

D. Mitchell "fzb78g", Amazon
15 May 2013
  • Summary: This is a great TV BUT.................. The screen is highly reflective! If there is any ambient light in the room, as soon as the picture gets at all dark (e.g. night scenes), you will be seeing reflections of the room! Unless of course you paint the room black and make everyone wear ninja suits. This may be true of all plasma screens but I've deeply regretted not getting an LCD TV this time!

Review of TV after 3 months of use

Blood Freak, Amazon
12 March 2012
  • Summary: If I'd have reviewed this TV within the first couple of weeks of owning it, I'd probably have given it 3 stars. But I was warned in advance that Plasma TVs can take up to 200 viewing hours to fully settle in re colours etc. It's true. We've had the TV for 3 months now and the picture was a little milky to start with, with blacks not being as impressive as I'd been led to believe.

Panasonic Tx-50ST30B

ayrton, Amazon
4 March 2012
  • Summary: I had a few initial problems associated with this TV fluctuating brightness green blobs. I decided to stick with it and give Panasonic a chance to fix the problems with their firmware fixes, mainly because of the superb performance of the set on a whole, value for money.. the buy of the century. I'm so glad I did as it seems all associated issues on this set are now not noticeable. I hope this lasts and does not reoccur.

excellent, no problems reported by other reviewers

K. Berry, Amazon
25 February 2012
  • Summary: Just a short note to say I was very nearly put off buying the 50inch version due to some the reviews / faults mentioned here. But, having the TV three weeks, it has none of the problems reported in other reviews, it is quiet, great picture etc, etc. Price was great, high six hundreds, although strangely gone up now. I updated the software from the panasonic website and it seems fine before and after.
