Summary: I bought this TV a couple of years ago expecting it to move with the times 1. There is no NetFlix and it looks like it will never appear 2. There is no web browser 3. The interface is poorly designed. While working overseas I used a Samsung - a much better TV. Don't bother this one get a Samsung instead.
Summary: After 3 months working fine the screen developed a yellow/blue stripe. To get this rectified by seller KM Essentials was a nightmare. Buck-passing and misinformation seems to sum it up. Amazon could not help with a refund or replacement. Then I.C.T (SOUTHERN) LTD (recommended by KM Essentials) returned my TV ostensibly repaired but in a real mess with the bezel with small friction scratches and terribly mis-seated.
Flickering is a Design Failing - A deal breaker for some
8 August 2011
Summary: One star really? Well yes, because this TV excludes a significant percentage of the population from ever enjoying Panasonics much praised TV. The reason is flickering, which I think another reviwer calls fluctuating brightness. With a variety of picture types but most notably menus, white screen & grey screen the picture flickers like a very old CRT computer display with the refresh rate set too low.
Summary: You should be aware this set suffers from fluctating brightness which is very, very annoying. Try watching the boardroom scenes in the apprentice ! Panasonic UK described this as a feature and were very unhelpfull. They advised to send set back for a full refund as they could not / would not help. TV sent back Amazon through this have been fantastic. No issues there and great service. Would order a big TV from amazon again.
