Summary: Absolutely sumptuous and 3D-elicious, this is my first 3D television, at the age of 64 some may say that TV technology is not important NAY-Nay I say in fact TV technology is vital to us geeks, when winter brings on those cold damp nights having my Panasonic 3D TV hooked up to my LG 3D Blu-ray player means we can curl up on the sofa in the warmth and comfort of our own home and watch the latest film/dvd in stunning 3D.
Summary: I bought this tv as a birthday present to myself just over a year ago. It has been absolutely brilliant (although I now watch far too much tv). I hooked it up to my Virgin HD box, a Blu-Ray player and a Yamaha 5.1 amp with a set of 100w speakers and sub, and I cannot fault it. If I am watching tv late at night, I do tend to use the tv's built-in sound system, which is definitely adequate, but if you want to exploit the 5.1 features properly, treat yourself to a sound...
Summary: Just got this TV delivered today and I must say that so far I am very pleased with my purchase. It was very east to set up. The Freesat works well after plugging into a communal TV/Satellite aerial system and looks good on the HD content which is useful as so far there is no Freeview HD in this area. So far there are five HD channels available. I found the controls on the remote easy enough to use as is the menu for altering the TV preferences as to your style.
Summary: Have to echo previous reviews, this is a fantastic tv especially at the current price. In my opinion only plasma with the exception of the high end samsung led can deliver this picture quality, thing is the samsungs are around 1800. The inclusion of 2 glasses also makes this a sensible forray into 3d which is exquisite by the way! I really love the 3d as does everyone who comes over and wants a go!
Summary: Firstly I must say that I totally agree with an earlier reviewer in saying that this is an excellent TV. This has replaced another Panasonic 42in SD Plasma TV that gave us 6 years rock solid service. The TV itself is by far the most stylish design that panasonic have attempted to date. We have bought it with a low level black media stand and complemented it with a top of the range panasonic Blu Ray home cinema.
Summary: Wondered about buying Pansonic's Plasma TV as most buyers appear to be going down the LED route, but I have to say that I'm delighted with the QUALITY and having previously had a LED TV I can hoestly say that the picture quality & the various other features & inovations intergrated into the set are in my opinion fantastic, the 3D experience is outstanding, well done Panasonic.
Summary: This has to be the best tv that we have owned and we're now on our third panasonic. Putting aside the 3d for a moment, the 2d is just phenomenal. Crisp & clear images with excellent black reproduction. Couple that with the Viera cast service and the Freesat / Freeview tuners built-in and you have a state of the art Telly. With four HDMI ports, I have hooked up the PS3, a Panasonic 3D Blu Ray and an AC Ryan digital movie player - all deliver excellent quality on screen.
