Dont be tight on the HDMI

Aj Paddon "A J Paddon", Amazon
8 January 2014
  • Summary: Simple addition to the excellent reviews of this exceptional TV. Please don't spend 1k plus on the mutts nuts tv, and then use a £2 HDMI lead. I have been something of a Hi-Fi buff in my youth, and did appreciate the difference that got audio leads etc could offer, but until this week I didn't...

Ted, Amazon
31 December 2013
  • Summary: This is a great looking TV, and the picture quality is very good in SD and excellent in HD; better than comparably priced LG and Samsung in my experience. However, if you want smart features then look elsewhere...

Buy it!

K. Wong, Amazon
4 June 2013
  • Summary: Amazingly clear in HD. Was initially going to go for the LG but there was no stock so went for this instead. Decision was a good decision. Have not yet tried the 3D movie yet but will do soon. Brilliant TV. Although it does fall short because you can't connect a wireless keyboard to it.

Stunning visuals

Pepper, Amazon
5 April 2013
  • Summary: The Panasonic TX-L42ET60B is a mid-range, 42" LED screen, 3D capable, Smart TV. It is also available from John Lewis as the TX-L42ET61B - the only difference being a different and arguably smarter stand.

Sad return!

Amazon Customer "LazyB", Amazon
5 April 2013
  • Summary: Already had a good Samsung, but wanted to upgrade to a Smart tv. The Panasonic has a great picture, (wife not so keen on the silver edges) but returned because of the sad lack of ITV Catchup, 4oD, channel 5 catchup. Only BBC iplayer available to Panasonic, otherwise would have kept it!

Stephen Cook, Amazon
5 April 2013
  • Summary: My house got burgled recently and our 42" Panasonic Viera television was taken. We replaced it with a different model from another manufacturer and were disappointed with the picture quality, so we returned it and replaced with this model.

  • Summary: Simply a great TV!! Great picture, easy to use and set up. Very slim and light for its size makes it easy to wall mount and keeps it tight to the wall. Wifi and 3D work great. Top job Panasonic!!
