Summary: We have always kept up to date with televisions because of the time spent in front of one, frankly they are replaced regularly. But this one is a keeper.....Smart tv it is great HD easy to use connected to internet..wireless adaptor as backup.
Summary: I bought this as I wanted something decent but wasn't bothered about 3D and didn't want to spend much due to impending influx of 4k TV which are likely to be the norm in the few years. The image is very good - not amazing, but very good. It took a while to get the optimum settings though. The dynamic backlight is a pain in dark rooms though as you can see it changing constantly.
Pros: Has to be best value 47" TV around
Cons: Dynamic backlight when viewing in dark rooms
Summary: Fantastic Television with crystal clear picture, Internet ready, we used the Ethernet connection for a fast download speed. The free-view service was also a added bonus to this Television. Now the not so good bit: Television on for around fifteen minutes then turned off. checked timer, power save mode, settings, even checked software etc. If the television picture re-appeared, then the TV stayed on OK for the rest of the evening.
Summary: By Adrian Cox I was looking for a TV with Freeview HD but didn't want 3D (I only have 1 eye so can never see anything in 3D) but all the TV's I researched were also Smart TV's. After much deliberation I chose this Panasonic which was a really good price - it has gone up in price by £100! What a bargin and what a TV. I also bought the dongle to be able to use the smart feature and am surprised how much I use this facility, mainly BBC I player and Youtube.
Summary: We decided to buy a led tv having had an awesome Sony Bravia lcd having been told led was the best one to get looked round Currys to check out the tvs and this was the one that caught our eye. We weren't intending to buy a Smart tv but the price was too good to resist. We ordered Monday night using free super saver delivery and it was delivered Wednesday morning by City Link so thumbs up Amazon!
Summary: The picture quality is OK for the price, & viewing angle pretty good. I've connected it via Ethernet to the home network, and browsing picture libraries on the Windows 8 PC upstairs works fine. Playing videos off the PC doesn't work so well, some it refuses to play at all, others have no audio. The Viera Connect 'SMART TV' functionality works fairly well, eg can associate it with your youtube account on the PC and push videos/favourites to it from there.
