Summary: I did not buy this tv from Amazon, but from another well known store, I would advise anyone thinking of buying one, to go for another make, this TV has dynamic backlight dimming, which means that any dark lit scenes, are automatically dimmed further, which makes the picture so dark, you cant see...
Summary: Great Television, crisp picture, great 3D picture. Online apps work well, all in all a brilliant tv for the price. AND of course it's Panasonic.... so no dodgy cheap components you may find in other (leading brand for sales) brand televisions ... naming no names ...you know who you are!!
Summary: I like and have bought many Panasonic product. In my experience they are well designed, durable and of good quality. I have had this TV for several months now and so far it has done nothing to change my view.
Summary: This is a great TV, very easy to set up, 3D is fine (don't really use it). The Internet connection was also really easy; it picked up the Wifi straight away and no problems at all with the speed. Watch iPlayer HD and youtube as if it were just another TV channel.
Summary: Really impressed by the picture quality straight from the box, especially compared to my old Samsung 40" LE40 LCD TV bought 5 years ago. There is a massive improvement in contrast, colour range, and detail, no doubt attributed to the IPS panel.
Summary: UPDATE: A few people have mentioned this and it started to drive me mad, the issue is that sometimes the picture appears dark and also appears to flicker in lightness. This is the TV saving power by turning off dark grey/black parts of the picture.
Summary: After my son returned from university with his aged 40" LCD Samsung television, and kicked out our antique 28" CRT Panasonic, I decided it was time to upgrade. Choice was between the Sony 40" 753 model or the 42" ET5B - the Panasonic won because of the excellence of the 12 year old 28" CRT.
Summary: I was looking for a 40 to 42 inch 3D TV to replace my 5 year old 26 inch Sony Bravia LCD. Upon reading a number of reviews and trying hands on with Sony, Samsung (Active 3D) and LG, Panasonic (Passive 3D), I settled for this model.
