Excellent mid-range choice, requires heavy tweaking

Summary: Other reviewers have already said enough about the set, so I'm going to add something original about how this particular TV, if heavily tweaked in its settings menu, can look much, much better than what would normally be logical. First, you'll want to use a different setup for either SDTV or HDTV. SDTV settings are OK at basic levels, with contrast and backlight as high as you can stand, which will probably be the maximum.
Summary: First: If a screen is less 50", then your eye can't tell the difference between 720p and 1080p. The only way to take advantage of 1080p is through Blue Ray.. 1080p eats up too much bandwidth for broadcasters to use. That being said, I bought this unit. Second: up until I bought this unit, I had 1 rule of thumb when buying electronics: Buy Panasonic (I still have a working 'digital' clock from 1975). Third: Picture is amazing, ease of setup, hooked up to Fios..
Summary: I purchased this TV for my neighbor who needed som help selecting a display. The amount of bad info out there is amazing. For example, people are being told 720 isn't HD or isn't good enough! This is a 32" display. Resolution is finite to your eye. You will save money and never know the difference on a 32" display with a native 720 panel. This has great color out of the box, is easy to adjust to a more realistic picture, and has acceptable sound for a flat panel display.
Summary: seriously for this price i dont think you get a better picture, Panasonic always talks about how good their picture is and ... yes its really good. i use to alot with my laptop via HDMI and im very surprised on how it looks better on tv that on my computer screen. you def can NOT go wrong with this Tv as long as the screen size isnt too small for you .
Summary: I set out to buy an inexpensive 32" LCD TV. After visiting a big box store which carried several brands, I quickly narrowed the choices to 2 sets, $100 apart. Bought the Panasonic set and have been even more impressed with the quality of the picture. So far I am thrilled with my choice. Quite frankly, the picture is better than the more expensive set.
Summary: Purchased the Panasonic Viera TC-L32CE for my Mother for x-mas to replace an older analgue set. She is delighted with it. Deliverey was very quick. Set is well made , easy to set up and program. Very good picture, even on an angle. I purchased this set due to its size ( It fit where I needed it to go) and it's great satisfaction rating. Very nice TV and certainly worth looking at this line.
Summary: I bought this TV in September as it was time for an upgrade. It is a great TV with a clear picture, easy set up, and good sound quality. I have not needed to add external speakers as is necessary on many TVs these days. The remote is easy to use and the hook ups are adequate for my purposes. We often use the HDMI inputs to hook my laptop to the TV to watch NETFLIX and ESPN3. These connections are easy and the picture quality is unchanged.
Summary: I am definitely not a TV or HD video buff, but I do have pretty high standards for resolution, color accuracy, etc. I only had about $300 budgeted for a new TV, and I knew 32" was the size I was looking for. I researched the options pretty thoroughly, and I was most influenced by one person who was a bulk buyer of TVs for installation in hospitals and nursing homes.
