Summary: Bought this TV in June 2011 and by February 2012 it had a RED line going from top to bottom on the screen. Called panasonic and they had me connect other devices to this tv just to make sure it was not the device causing the red line. They also informed that I would have to take it to a service center to get fixed. I waited until I had the money to buy a second tv (not panasonic) before taking this to get fixed.
Summary: I bought this TV about 4 months ago. Unfortunately, receiving it coincided with me being newly released from the hospital and still sick. I noticed the issue with the color pretty fast, but didn't return it out of pure exhaustion. So that part is my fault. As for the sharpness of the picture, it's fine. I don't know that it's as good as the five star reviews, but I don't have a lot to compare it to.
Summary: Like a few others that have reviewed this TV, my box did not include the necessary 8 screws to attach the pedestal to the tv. And like others on here, I was left terribly frustrated by Panasonic's customer service. I was asked to fax the parts that I needed and then I would need to wait 7-10 business days once my request was approved to receive the screws. Really, Panansonic, I need to fax you a list in 2012? I declined and I am returning the tv to Amazon.
Summary: I bought this model because of all the great reviews on a 32 inch model. Setup was easy. Picture was nice. It worked great for 3 days but then it stopped playing DVDs. It wasn't the DVD player. Called panisonic customer service but hung up after being on hold for 15 minutes. I am taking it back to Best Buy to exchange. Hopefully the second one will work out better.
Summary: I'm very disappointed in this Panasonic TAC-L32C3. I cannot set the sleep timer. I have a Samsung TV and the sleep timer is very easy to understand. Also, under when I click "i" TV-PG appears. the sample in the book says TV-G. No information on how to change. Advice:try these options in a store before buying this product.
Summary: The TV is fine. The picture/sound quality are a little better than I expected for a $300 TV. Why one star? This TV was purchased for a child moving to college. It was delivered in a new, sealed, undamaged box. Rather than inspecting the contents, I loaded the boxed TV with her other belongings, and we moved her into the dorm, several hours from home...
Summary: I bought this television and returned it days later (by the way, thanks Amazon for making returns easy). Problem was after watching the TV for a couple of minutes the picture would turn off and a blinking red light would stay on. The manual said this was the TV's way of protecting itself against power surges. So I tried plugging in the TV through a surge strip and then on a dedicated circuit. Same problems. So I called Panasonic's help number.
