Great TV, pitty about the ergonomics.

  • Summary: As with their DMR-EX77 the product has excellent performance, and I heartily agree with most of the other reviewers. However both are let down by the ergonomics of the on screen menus. Why does the sound have to cut out when you select the program guide? Why is a good area of this guide taken up by adverts for some junk or other I'm not the slightest bit interested in, leaving the guide itself cramped. If I want adverts I'll watch channel 5!

make sure your next tv is the RIGHT tv

  • Excerpt: This is an outstanding tv to say the least when it first came out. As a cautious buyer I almost always check Which?.co.uk to see which is the best product. They are not always right, but when this Tv was top of their charts i decided that it would be worth the price to buy one, and wow, what a great tv it is. The 1080p is a fairly visible difference compared to 720p quality and really helps to enjoy the viewing experience.

Panasonic TX-32LZD80 - Everything you need for a modest gawp.

  • Excerpt: I've had this TV for a little over a year now and so far it's been very good. But this is the first large-ish LCD set I've owned, so make of that what you will (I initially felt like one of the apes looking at the black monolith at the start of 2001 A Space Odyssey...). When I watched it alongside the banks of other TVs in John Lewis the picture quality was clearly better than the cheaper brands/models and I've not been disappointed.
  • Pros: Reliable and stylish
  • Cons: Not the cheapest; poor remote control response .

A really good flat screen TV with full HD capabilities

  • Excerpt: We bought this TV after our 12yr old tube went 'bang'. For specs see the Panasonic Website. So why bother with the Panasonic brand at all. Well they are the first TV manufacturer to include a FreeSat integrated tuner in the TV allowing you to view HD channels without subscribing to Sky HD or going out and buying a separate FreeSat box.

  • Summary: Picture and sound are first class. I bought this television as a "Which" best buy, as there are so many to choose from, thus, avoiding buying one with poor sound or picture quality etc. It's widescreen 1080p full HD., and it sells at a good price.

  • Excerpt: We recently got this television from Comet to replace an old Toshiba 'fat' television, with a slightly bigger screen size of 32' compared to 26'. Here is what we have found: -First of all, if you want to buy from Comet, go to the store and collect, do not get it delivered. They never stick to delivery times, and it is a horrible hassle having to re-arrange with no compensation. I think Comet are great in store, but not on delivery.

32" Flat Screen Television.

Robert A. L. Mills, Amazon
21 May 2009
  • Summary: I never buy anything of value without first checking "Which" reports to see 'best buy options' Having read all the test reports I decided that the Panasonic TX32LZD suited all the criteria of picture quality and size that we wanted. I ordered it through Amazon which gave the best price and it was delivered as promised and I was able to track the delivery by City Link. I have not been disappointed.
