In a perfect world, the 32LXD70’s black levels might be a touch deeper still, its auto backlight adjustment would be fractionally more subtle or quick-reacting, and its speakers would deliver a bit more frequency range, especially at the bass end. This is a fairly recent purchase for me, since I only got it a few months ago. I have been completely happy with all aspects of it so far, but have not tried to connect a console or a PC. "Installability" I was really quite impressed by how easy this TV is to set up and get going. Purchased this tv in Jan 2008 and have been very pleased with it. After comparing several tv's, a request to the salesman to look at their respective remote controls left me in no doubt this was the tv for me. It is very intuitive with clear and easy to read buttons. At my age (50 female) I struggle with technology but found this tv very easy to set up. The Manual is clear. Read more
Have just bought this TV over Internet. Looked at many LCD TVs over the last year and this was clearly the best picture with good sound. In my opinion, the Samsung has a good picture, but sound is tinny. The Phillips looks good in HD, but has a strange heat haze effect around characters in SD. The Toshiba WLT has resoanble picture and sound, but the Panasonic is the better picture (new Toshiba C3030 is particuarly poor). Read more
