As far as the sonics go, we could have hoped for a tad meatier sound, but that said, the sleek 26LXD70 definitely does the business. Read more

Although it's certainly not cheap for a 26-inch LCD TV, Panasonic's TX-26LXD70 justifies its cost by providing enough features and performance quality to mark it out as a cut above most of the competition. It's debatable whether you really need all the 26LXD70's features on such a small TV, but hey -- if you've got it, flaunt it, right? Read more

The TX-26LXD70 is not revolutionary, but it is enough of a leap forward to make it the current leader of the pack. Read more

Bought this TV 2nd hand at a steal of £120 after scanning the local news paper for a new HD TV to play my xbox 360 on and i was so glad we traveled the distance we did to get this because the quality and detail on the screen when gaming is just great ! Read more

Great picture, especially in sunny rooms. Slim casing and slight read tinge to bottom make it look classy and doesn't overpower the room. Good sound at low - medium volume, but chassis vibrates at above average volumes (30+ but not very loud). The "Intelligent" sensor advertises it's done an adjustment with a big popup box EVERY time it adjusts which can be six plus times a minute. The popup cannot be turned off and LG support think it's OK... Read more

    • Excellent picture. Easily watchable in bright rooms. Looks sexy and sleek
    • Intelligent sensor. Useless TV guide. Poor channel mapping. Speakers vibrate chassis. Automatic bass increase over time.
  3. Panasonic TX-26LXD70: Quite simply the best TV under 30 inches.

This is the first digital TV I have bought so I spend time researching all the different models available. Final choice was between Panasonic and Sony - both having full range of features and built-in digital tuner . Chose Panasonic because of better picture quality. The TV is for a relatively small room and hence the 26" screen size is ideal. I am extremely pleased with my purchase - it looks stunning and setting up was an absolute doddle. Read more
