WOW! What fantastic viewing experience!

  • Summary: The Panasonic TH-58PH10UKA is an incredible viewing experience. If you don't need a TV with a tuner this is a great value! You get a 58 inch plasma screen for less than the cost of a 50 inch. In my case I'm using the component video output on my HDTV cable box as the signal source. [...]Over all... Two Thumbs Up!
  • Pros: Durable, Good Value, High Quality

Best Big Plasma for the Price

  • Summary: Have this behind a bar at a country club and the picture is incredible. Does a great job displaying non HD programming like the golf channel and does an excellent job on all HD channels. Mounted it on the wall so not having a stand was fine, and the area was already wired for surround sound so didn't need speakers. Used the available component inputs which handle HD just as well as HDMI in my opinion, plus I didn't need audio sent back to the monitor only video.
  • Pros: Adjustable Viewing Angles, Great picture quality, Large Viewing Area, Reliable Performance, Small Footprint

Excellent choice for streamlined look

  • Summary: This plasma is a great option for those of you looking for a streamlined look, with a thin black frame and bezel surrounding the viewing area. If you are planning to use an A/V switcher for input control and a separate speaker system - this unit saves you a ton of money by getting rid of the things you don't need. It is also the best option for building into cabinetry or woodwork. Be aware - for HDMI input you will have to spend $125-$175 for an input card.
  • Pros: Adjustable, Sharp Image, Versatile, Vivid Colors
  • Cons: Lots Of Glare

Deceptive ad

17 December 2007
  • Summary: The image shows a base upon which the display sits. However, no such base is included. Rather, you have to purchase and install a wall mounting bracket. In addition, the product description does not appear to indicate that the display does not include speakers. Again, these speakers, along with the brackets, have to be purchased separately. Completely deceptive.
