There is signal compatibility with 480i, 720p, 480p, and 1080i. This plasma television model has a SD Memory Card slot which allows viewers to insert an SD card taken from a digital camera or a camcorder into the slot on the television and right away view the photos. Its unit dimension measures at 47.7 inches in width x 31.3 inches in height x 3.8 inches or 14.6 inches in depth if with stand.

The TH-50PX75U is a worthy follow on to the successful 60U line of plasma televisions. The new black color with thin bezel are welcome changes. Issues we found with the 60U have been addressed making this TV a great buy at $2100. If you can live with the issues of the 60U you can save about $315 and get one for $1750 ( ). Read more
The performance of this HDTV has been flawless. I chose to not get a 1080p set to save a little money, and this set has proven my decision right. I base that on the observation that at 9 feet away, where I sit, I cannot see the individual pixels. In fact, I have to be less than 4 feet to see them on this 50" screen. Be prepared, though, if you're new to HDTV sets. While your old analog set had almost nothing to adjust, these HD sets have many adjustments and settings.... Read more

"I bought this TV from Sears in January and it's been great. I got it on sale at a very good price and they delivered it that weekend. I was influenced to look at the Panasonic by Consumers Report's high rating and a family member's satisfaction with his set. The TV has 2 HDMI outlets so I could hook up both the DVD player and the DVR/satellite input. I also liked the LG, but it had only one HDMI input. I use my home theater so the sound quality from the TV (altho good)... Read more
