Summary: The colors and picture on this TV is incredible. It is absolutely beautiful and I love watching it. I do however agree with another review that do not by a broken plasma as fixing them is usually more costly than jst purchasing a new one.
Summary: Well, what do you want to hear about first? The TV or the shipper? First, the TV. This is my first step into big TV waters. I wanted one mainly for DVDs. And I did not want buyer's remorse after spending this much for a television. So, as many others have, I did months & months of online research into LCDs, plasmas, and projections so I understood the differences. I went to many different stores to see them live in action.
Summary: I've had this television for approximately two weeks now and I couldn't be happier. The HD picture is simply stunning, with very realistic colors and good black rendering (which can be a weak spot for some plasma sets). I also have a Sony upconverting DVD player that looks extraordinarily good on the Panasonic, although not as good as a genuine HD signal.
Awesome picture - Great value - Eagle, not so great.

Summary: We finally took the plunge. The amazon price was lower than or equal to anything locally, and with shipping thrown in (White Glove), I was sold. Funny thing about "White Glove" service. It isn't always. I had noticed from other reviews that Eagle would sometimes not want to unpack or haul away the boxes. So, I confirmed with Amazon via email that I had "White Glove".
Summary: I debated quite a bit about ordering this tv online rather than purchasing locally. However, I have ordered several items from Amazon over the years and have not had a problem. Everything has been delivered earlier than I expected and in excellent condition. This tv had excellent reviews by others who have purchased it, so I went ahead and ordered it. The tv arrive early from AMazon and was in excellent condition. I hooked it up to Directv and what a picture.
Summary: Just to give you an idea of where I'm coming from . . . before purchasing this television, I was using a Sony Trinitron 27 inch that was about 8 years old. This is my first plasma television. I have it connected to a Cablevision HDTV cablebox with HDMI output, a Sony DVPNS75H Single Disc Upscaling DVD Player, and an Onkyo 6.1 HTIB system.
Summary: The TV is everything the other favorable reviewers said it was. What I want to review today is the delivery service. The TV was ordered on the web on Sunday evening, January 14th. On the 15th I got the confirmation e-mail saying expected delivery was to between the 18th and the 22nd. On Tuesday the 16th, a message said delivery was due on the 24th. On Wednesday the 17th, a phone call asked if I could take delivery the next day. Thursday, Jan 18th, it arrived.
Summary: This is my first Plasma TV and I'm very impressed. The unit showed up quickly and was in perfect shape. I've had my eye on a plasma TV ever since they were 20K for a 50' about 6 years ago. Right out of the box the unit doesn't make any noise at all. It has two fans on the back of the unit at the top and then make almost no noise. This means that the unit is very quiet and very nice when watching TV at a low volume.
