The Panasonic 42 PX75U is a medium priced for this size range (around $1,500), and, when one considers that all plasma displays were priced in the many thousands of dollars just a few years back, it constitutes a solid value. Read more

Old DVD player? Plan to upgrade
Reviewer: Brian, Amazon24 February 2008- Overall 8

There are many good reviews here already, so I won't drone on except with the things that I encountered. If your DVD player doesn't have HDMI digital output, you may need to buy a new one to get a decent quality picture. My player was 5+ years old and the DVD picture was pretty bad, even with Component Video connection. I bought a Sony DVP-NS75H DVD Player (lower end model) with HDMI output and upconversion and now the picture is near HD. One of the other reasons that... Read more

Nice color, great contrast, loving it
Reviewer: ysangong, PriceGrabber30 December 2007- Overall 10

In general, happy with the purchase. Used it a lot in sharing photos with friends coming to my house this holiday season, we are very satisfied with the color and crystal clean details of the pictures. We use it to watch HD dvd movies, though the sound setting is too naive, we use our discrete home theater audio system, so it is not a big deal for us. With the price, we are happy with this HDTV set. Read more

"The Panasonic line has one thing that sets them apart from any other manufacturer, their GalleryPlayer feature. There isn’t a ton of HD programming, especially not in 1080p, out on the market so to really show off my TV I throw some GalleryPlayer art and photography onto an SD card and plug it in. Martinis and margaritas in 1080p look better than a football game on the TV during a party or even when I’m just reading. GalleryPlayer gives you some free images to start ... Read more

Don't waste your money!!!
Reviewer: coinuts, Ebay08 February 2007Well, I have had this camera for about 14 months now. Picture quality was very good, however, the camera was exasperatingly slow. Slow to take the picture, slow to take the next picture and slow to transfer its data to the computer. The software was also a bit clunky. Additionally, the lens cap just doesn't stay on. I could have lived with all of this. However, about a month ago, the directional button on the back of the camera broke. It would not allow you to move th... Read more
