Awesome TV!!!

Chris, pcRUSH.com
27 May 2008
  • Summary: Comments about Panasonic TH-42PX60U: I've had this TV for about 2 weeks now, and I absolutely love it! I wouldn't trade it for the world. My friends would tell me that plasma TVs aren't good, but when I got this TV, I proved them all wrong!
  • Pros: Attractive Design, Fast Setup, Great Picture, Simple Controls

Awesome TV for a great price

George Voduc "silencio", Amazon
8 June 2007
  • Summary: Like most, I spent a long time agonizing over screen size, resolution, etc... I chose this set for price, brand (I have little brand loyalty, but Panasonic has earned it over 25 years with me), and image. I'm no videophile, so I didn't engage in comparing all the little stats and numbers.

Awesome TV for Standard Definintion viewing

Mohammed Khan, Amazon
19 May 2007
  • Summary: The truth is most people still watch SD programming on their HDTVs. I wanted a TV that would give good SD quality and I think this one gives outstanding quality. I have Dish Network International programming (that won't be going HD any time soon) and the channels look great on this TV.

Best TV for the $$$

D. Gerry, Amazon
3 March 2007
  • Summary: I've had this for over a year now. This is an excellent TV with incredible image quality. Many TVs produce unpleasent reds, but this one handles every shade with ease. Blacks could be a little deeper, but it's not a problem thanks to adjustability and great controls.

Michael P. Kukielka "BORG", Amazon
1 March 2007
  • Summary: What a discovery! This is the best plasma HDTV available in this price range. I bought this during the Holidays along with a 50" Vizio and I prefer this model. I have never been more confident in a decision.

What a picture!!

D. Richardson, Amazon
13 February 2007
  • Summary: I went to purchase a 40in LCD and walked away with this beauty. Fry's had it on sale for $1,099 and Best Buy priced matched it for me. LCD's just cannot display enough dark content for me. I know alot of people will say LCD is the only choice for gaming, especially 1080p LCD's but i beg to differ.

Paul A. Koanui "Paul Koanui", Amazon
18 January 2007
  • Summary: This was the first big purchase that I made online and I have to say that I have been very pleased with every portion of the experience leading up to and including my family's enjoyment of the television itself. I had done some research on plasma TV's and I was most concerned with burn in.

Incredible HD for the home

croll, Amazon
16 January 2007
  • Summary: This is an incredible television for an incredible price. I had been researching plasma and LCD televisions for three years before finally making the purchase. Some of the major considerations the TV had to have: high definition resolution of 1080i, priced under $2000, and consistently excellent...

You get what you pay for

Mathew P. Pedersen "Matt Pedersen", Amazon
15 January 2007
  • Summary: In December 2005, I purchased the Panasonic TH-42PD50U 42" Plasma EDTV. I consulted with Consumer Reports and CNet and they both concluded that this was the one to get (at least in my price range). I've now had the TV slightly over a year. It continues to impress guests.
