Panasonic TH37PX70 Plasma Tv Review

Kev Lunn, Unbeatable
3 May 2012
  • Excerpt: Bought this plasma TV to replace my old Philips 32" Pixel-Plus CRT TV. Although the SD picture quality on the Panasonic is not as good as the Philips - it is not too bad. HD picture quality, and picture quality via the DVD player, is superb, however, and far better than most LCD panels I''ve watched recently. The detail in dark scenes is excellent - which is where LCD screens are poor.
  • Pros: HD and DVD picture quality. Appearance.
  • Cons: Like most flat-panel TVs - the SD picture is not as good as CRT TVs. Viera Link does not work without modifying the HDMI cable.

  • Excerpt: ***Brand*** Panasonic began in 1918 in Osaka, Japan with the invention of a two-socket light bulb by Konosuke Matsushita. He sold these light bulbs from his own home. With ongoing inventions metting demands of consumers, the company grew and nowadays accounts for $51.7 billion net sales worldwide. For more info, check out the history page on their website, www.panasonic.co.uk. Interesting reading!!

Panasonic TH37PX70 CAB

  • Excerpt: After having major problems (as did many other owners) with the previous model, the px60, Panasonic agreed to exchange the TV for the new black PX70 model, although I didn't think it looked as good as the previous model, which was silver, as long as it worked ok I was happy. For 12months and 1 week, it was fine, until vertical lines appeared on the screen, after a bit of checking on the internet, I found that many owners had the same problem, and the repair required a...
  • Pros: Excellent Picture Quality, Very good sound .
  • Cons: Disappointed with the overall quality of manufacture

  • Excerpt: Bought one of these a couple of months back - fantastic bit of kit! Picture quality and sound quality are both superb. Bought an upscaling DVD player to get the most out of my existing films and haven`t looked back! Next stop, surround sound!

  • Excerpt: Simply fabulous. Pros: Easy to setup. Stunning picture quality on non HD feeds, particularly the inbuilt Freeview. Natural looking colours. Contrast and black levels are fantastic. Sound quality is pretty good. Looks pretty sexy, even when switched off. Cons: So far, none, apart from Panasonic's projected power use. Popped the box open, plugged it in and it set itself up in 5 minutes. Just enough time to pop the batteries in the remote control and have a cuppa.
  • Pros: Picture quality, ease of set up, looks fantastic .
  • Cons: Maybe not the most power efficient TV you can buy .

  • Excerpt: This is am excellent TV, give it good pictures and it really shines. If anything, the only problem is it shoes up how dreadfully compressed most TV transmissions are. DVDs look great! Very easy to set up and enough connectors. 2 x HDMI, 2 x Scart, Component and PC inputs.

  • Summary: DEFINITIVAMENTE SE CUMPLE LOS DE "MAS VALE SONY QUE UN PANASONIC" NO IMPORTA QUE SU COSTO SEA MAYOR PERO COMPRA UNO CALIDAD Y NO APARIENCIA Y ENGAÑO. COMPRE HACE 1 AÑO Y 8 MESES UN PANASONIC TH-42PD60X CON USO MINIMO Y DE UN MOMENTO A OTRO NO QUISO VOLVER A ENCENDER. NO SE SI LO QUE ME VENDIERON ES REMANUFACTURADO O DEFECTUOSO, PERO LOS SEÑORES DE CARREFOUR COLOMBIA O PANASONIC PANAMA SE HICIERON LOS LOCOS, AL FINAL DE CUENTAS PARA VENDER SON MUY BUENOS PERO PARA...
