Great Picture,PLASMA not ideal for excessive use,Burn is STILL issue with PLASMA

Summary: I have a lot of PANASONIC products,from boombox,to ,bluray players,to speakers,receivers you name it. I have a 60 inch Panasonic Led a year old with manufactures and extended WARRANTY and PANASONIC says that even though there is a issue with BLOTCHES or dead PIXELS.
Summary: Have had for approx 2 years now and absolutely no complaints. Amazing picture, especially with new blu-ray player. My boss was so impressed he bought a 60-inch version. Plasma has great picture - need to be aware of lighting in room to deal with reflection issues, but works great in my room.
Summary: Purchased 4/2012, 3/2013 - tv shut itself off, 8 blinks. Panasonic had a local repair shop fix it without problem (SS Board). 10/2013 - tv shut itself off, 8 blinks (same problem, approx 6 months later). Panasonic said tv is out of warranty.
Summary: TWO SETS_SAME PROBLEM. I returned the first TV after just one week and the same thing happened with the second. I bought the PAN TC-P50U50 for the game room to play video games and watch the occasional movie. It is not my primary television.
Summary: Purchased one of these tvs last year and now have the blinking red light issued - 8 blinks per sequence. Called Panasonic as I fortunately have 3 weeks left on my warranty. A service tech was scheduled for a week later (tomorrow) due to part having to be ordered.
Summary: Good TV and we have a much older Panasonic Viera 42. Just 3 weeks past the 12 month warranty was up we suddenly got 8 blinking lights. From web searches, it appears to be a common problem with the power supply board.
