Great picture. Be extremely vigilant with your viewing...

Summary: This is truly a beautiful set. I have to give it a four, for only one reason, persistent image retention. Ran break in slides for 200 hours with plenty of full screen programming. Around 300 hours in, put on Pandora for a couple hours and now have a lovely ghost of that on my TV. I am hopeful that it will fade away, but is been almost two months...Clearly the features in the TV that are meant to prevent image retention and burn-in are a joke.
Summary: Great Picture, installed and setup myself except for placing on the stand. The TV is almost 100 lbs so needed haelp with that part. WiFi browser exactly what I wanted. Use Free Hulu and browsed for my son's videos posted online. I would recommend to a friend.
Summary: My 55GT50 just arrived a half hour before I had to leave for work, and worked perfectly after set-up. It took 9 days to arrive from Amazon. The deliverer was an older man who wasn't familiar with this TV. He helped me bring it into the front door. Then he helped me lift my 50" 2009 LG off my ZVOX base, and move the old TV into the guest bedroom. Then he helped me assemble the 55GT50. (My power screwdriver was helpful. The 8+1 base to TV screws have lots of turns.
Summary: I bought this TV to replace my previous Panasonic TV which lasted for 7 long years and 4 moves without a scratch or a problem. The GT50 produces stunning pictures, some of the best I have seen. I looked at a number of different TVs and brands from edge lit LEDs, back lit LEDs to Plasmas. This TV has one of the best picture quality in my price range. It also offers a comprehensive list of practical features ( no gimmicks like gesture response etc).
