The TC-P50V10 Plasma HDTV offers Neo PDP Technology that consists of 40000:1 static contrast ratio, 2000000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, full High Definition 1080p (1920 x 1080) lines of motion resolution and 600Hz sub field drive. It also offers deeper blacks a.k.a ‘infinite black panel’. 600Hz sub field drive maintains fast action picture quality at premium. It also boasts Viera Cast menu system that enables internet content such as videos, weather, stock information, web albums etc to be displayed via online connectivity without additional hardware or software. The ‘V Series’ HDTV comes complete with full THX Display certification, a built in digital tuner, DCC, Video mode, Viera Link, Viera Tools and Viera Image viewer with AVCHD playback capabilities. It also features 16:9 aspect ratio with 40000:1 native contrast ratio, 2000000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 600Hz Sub field drive, 24p playback, Deep and X.V color. It also offers control such as normal, just, zoom, H-full mode (TV/AV) and full mode (PC). It also offers HDTV and EDTV display capabilities. The Panasonic TC-P54V10 Plasma HDTV comes equipped with THX mode, Viera Image Viewer that able to play AVCHD, MPEG2 and JPEG formats, Anti Reflective (AR) screen coating filter, 3D color management and Digital Cinema Color. It also provides various ports such as 4 HDMI inputs, video input, a couple of composite video inputs and a couple of component inputs. Other ports included are LAN port, PC Input (mini D-Sub 15 pin), analog audio input (HDMI/DVI), 2 audio inputs for component video and 2 audio inputs for PC.   • panasonic v10 discontinued

    panasonics v10 series came out in early 09 and will be discontinued in march of 2010.this doesnt sound good.all reports show it to be a great tv,but this concerns me.should i wait for the new model.
