Summary: So far I've had the TV for about a day. It is my first flat panel, so also my first plasma, but so far I am very impressed. I've got it hooked up to an XBox 360 and an HD DVR from Comcast. The picture on the HD is spectacular.
Summary: I couldn't be happier about this purchase. At $999 delivered for a Panasonic 54" 1080p TV, there is no question this was the best deal on the market at the time. It did not disappoint . . . the picture is fantastic in 720p, 1080i and 1080p. Delivery was pretty straight forward . . .
Summary: Everything it was promised to be! I highly recommend it. For the money you will be hard pressed to find better. The only cons that that I can come up w for this TV is that it does make a faint humming noise when it is turned on.
Summary: The TV arrived defective but the problem was quickly taken care of by Panasonic. I got the 50" and 54" versions of the TV for different rooms in the house. The 50" looks slightly better in my opinion, but that is expected considering the size difference.
Summary: Works as expected, great picture, great price. Great TV if you don't want to pay for all the "bells and whistles". No 3D, no internet, but I did not want that. I just want a great picture for my Direct TV and Xbox 360.
Summary: When this TV first arrived we noticed a loud buzzing noise coming from the set. We called Panasonic and a tech was at our house the next day. He replaced the power supply and put some insulation on the driver boards and now it is virtually silent.
