The main thing that can be said about Panasonic TC-P54G10 is that it offers just the right balance between price and quality. Even though it does not exactly match the quality of its V10 counterpart in all areas, it falls only slightly behind it and it is also less expensive, which can make it the right choice for those that do not intend to spend more money just for a product that is a new release. This TV is absolutely fantastic. Words simply cannot describe it without first seeing a hi-def movie on this TV. The picture quality is superb. Watching a blu-ray movie on this TV is watching it the way it was meant to be seen. The added color filters are great as well. The THX, vivid, and game modes allow a greater field of when watching. The vivid in particular is excellent for most CG movies, and the THX, well that just speaks for itself. Read more

I use it to watch TV off the antenna. It is a pleasure to watch especially the HD ones. I now have it on a stand but for the size it would be better on the wall, which I plan on doing. I am a green guy and therefor a bit guilty about the amount of power it consumes: 600W. It does have some glare but I don't know how the LCDs compare. Read more

I bought this TV from the local Video Only for $1850 in late May. I've had it hooked up (to 3 400 disc DVD changers, receiver, source selector, DVD recorder, PS3, powerline adapter, router, surge protector) for a week now. Sound can be a bit tinny, but if you want to watch a movie or concert on TV you can just use the optical audio out to your surround system. All the new channels we get thanks to the internal HDTV tuner are great. Read more
