Pros: The good: Superior black-level performance and excellent shadow detail; accurate primary colors in THX mode; great color saturation; effective antireflective screen; reproduces 1080p/24 cadence properly; VieraCast provides access to select Internet servic
Cons: Relatively expensive; last year's Panasonic plasmas lost black-level performance over relatively short periods of time; nonadjustable grayscale in THX mode; some artifacts in 1080p/24 mode; fewer streaming services and apps than the competition; uses more
Pros: Great 3D Viewing! Great menu options for adjusting picture.
Cons: Burn in! A group of friends came over to enjoy a basketball game and everyone noticed & complained about the Burn In. Been told that the THX Mode needs to much tweaking to get it right. Standard picture modes are no good with any of the selections.
Summary: Had this 3D plasma given to us as a gift. We watched a 3D movie after I spent hours switching it out with my old TV, hooking up the blu-ray, sound system, etc. It looked fantastic. Very impressive 3D, although the overall picture quality and black levels are inferior to my Pioneer plasma. The next day, the new 3D TV stopped working. A red light flashes four times on the front, indicating a hardware fault and power failure.
Pros: Fabulous picture out of the box till 1000 hours and then...?????
Cons: Black wont stay black has the day we shop. Did anyone call Panasonic for new designers? (And I am not talking about being slim, only the frame is the same old plasma from 5 years ago!) Awfull design.I really don´t understand how Cnet give it 8?
