Summary: Regretted not purchasing a last gen Panasonic plasma. Fortunately, a Craigslist seller sold it to me for $400 in near mint condition. Lived with it for 4 months and it blows the pants off any LCD/LED set. Still waiting for OLED to work all the bugs out and go down in price.

Summary: I sold high end TVs for 2 years while in college, so I knew exactly what to buy when I went to purchase a TV. This TV is incredible. Here we are almost 2 years later and the picture on this TV is better than most of the high end LEDs on the market today.
Summary: I bought this set locally because I sell them at a retail store. Customers always run to the LCD or LED TV's because they are the brightest. None in my opinion are as black or as accurate in color as this TV or any other plasma set.
Summary: Don't let the stories of image retention or burn in sway you from purchasing Plasma as your primary PC monitor. I currently use the 60S60 as a home theater PC monitor for gaming, movies, and internet. Picture quality and "input lag" were the only two concerns while I was shopping for a new monitor.
Summary: After remodeling our basement and media room , we needed to find a nice TV. We found that most of the LED offerings on the market were unacceptable. Horrible clouding and flashlighting, very poor black levels, etc...
Summary: I had this sitting side-by-side for days with a 70" Vizio LED/LCD, and hands down, the Panasonic Plasma 65" was better. Yes, in my living room with several windows, during the day, there is more reflection, but it doesn't really bother me. Overall, I'd take the pana plasma over an LCD.
Summary: Just sent back my Samsung LED LCD TV and picked this up instead. The Smart TV portion of the Samsung just wasn't there, and no point in paying extra for something I won't use when a HTPC/set top box will do it better. Saw the amazing reviews here and decided to give it a shot.
Consumer Reports #1 TV for 2013 Lives Up To It's Reputation

Summary: Consumer Reports rated this #1 so I bought it. I don't have a lot to compare it to other than my 2007 Samsung 720p Plasma. But it looks better than that and even though I've been diligent about turning on the burn-in protection after every use; I yet to see one ghost image even after leaving menus...
Summary: Great display, integrates well into my home theater system. This *is* a budget system, so beware that there are a limited number of inputs (two HDMI, one composite/component). You'll need a receiver for more.
