Overall, the Panasonic TC-P50G15 is a nice plasma television that offers a smooth balance of picture clarity, color, and performance. The features and ports are reasonable; however, this model is not perfect. Sometimes, the picture may appear too dark for viewing. But besides the occasional glitch, this 1080p plasma is the perfect addition to your living room. Keep in mind that it is expensive, so you may want to shop around before deciding on this one. waited to write my review to see how satisfied i was after a year, amazon and the online vendor was very prompt in email communication and followed with updates to the status and shipping tracking, id give them a 5 star, however the info i recieved while shopping for a 50" plasma TV lead me to believe that "NetFlix" WOULD be added to the viera cast features with firmware updates, netflix was an important feature in making my decision on a flat panel tv as i only intended Read more

The picture quality is outstanding! You can't go wrong with a Panasonic Plasma. They are the best in the industry. If you are concerned about glare, there is no TV that will elimate this despite what they say, plasma or LCD. However, Panasonic's anti-glare technology really helps. Overall glare is minimal to moderate during the day, but not annoying. You don't notice unless you are looking for it. My plasma is in a very bright room. Read more

I purchased this TV a few weeks ago and couldn't be happier with it! There are two things I'd like to comment on- 1. Google custom calibrations at avsforum (slightly brighter than THX and imo more functional for 90% of viewing) 2. I would suggest that you have a home theater system if you purchase this unit, the speakers are very bad, but I would assume most everyone will be running some sort of secondary sound.
