Summary: Our set was purchased in May, 2010 (now three weeks from 12 month parts and labor warranty expiration). It seemingly worked fine until about eight months after purchase when it began to arbitrarily cut itself off. It was easily repowered and continued to perform satisfactorily. During the first week of April 2011, it completely died....no power, nothing. A Panasonic authorized technician came to the house ($45 charge for in-home service on 42" and below).
bad color balance, poor sound, no S-Video, good slide viewer

Summary: Panasonic's CRT-TVs were renowned for their good colors that held up well for a variety of programs and sources, and I expected their HD-Plasma TV to be even better. This is not the case: in all of the display modes, the greens are too bright and cannot be sufficiently reduced by the available adjustments.
