Summary: Gotta say I was a little concerned having read reviews about this product and damaged and unprotected factory boxes... it was delivered in mint condition, in a giant box-within-a-box, padded on all sides. Thanks Amazon! Great TV, outstanding picture, easy to set up.
Summary: We were looking for a basement television in the $500 price range. Had purchased a different Panasonic 47" (the ET5 smart tv), a more expensive model, about 6 months ago for $750. Loved it. We didn't need the bells and whistles for the basement, and decided to purchase this model. We were on a strict $500 budget (had a $500 gift card) so when the Amazon Warehouse price for the "good condition- USED" model dipped to $495, we jumped on it.
Summary: I sold my panasonic 42 inch 720p plasma and recently bought the 47 inch version of this tv and it's amazing, needed to tweak and play with the settings but the results were incredible. Some backlight bleed but it's not noticeable while watching a movie and this is common in LEDs. I have used it for games, bluray movies, streaming and as a pc monitor. Panasonic is my favorite brand for now on. P.S.
Very nice 'smart' Internet-connected TV, great features, excellent value for the price

Summary: First impressions - Pros: - Excellent and vivid picture (glad I went with 120Hz and IPS) - Terrific deal price through Amazon (just six hundred bucks at the time of my purchase) - Very easy unpacking and set-up (four screws to assemble the base, four more to attach the TV to the base) - The screen is very thin, the set attractive overall - The VIERA HDMI connect is smart enough to enable control of my Sony Blu-Ray player using the TV's remote, which is way cool - Rear...
Summary: this TV is amazing, before buying this TV i was using Samsung Smart TV UN46EH5300 which we had to sell during our out of state. i was looking for an alternate TV which can give me the same viewing experience but this time i was looking for a TV with much smaller budget. i was not so keen on buying a TV which had built in Wifi as i had provision for directly using Ethernet cable for connecting my TV to internet.
Summary: I couldn't be happier with this purchase. I've never paid over $500 for a TV, and for that price, this absolutely blows away all the other TV's I've owned. The design is sharp, the picture is crisp, and the connection options are great. I even have it plugged into my router so I can access Netflix and other apps without having to purchase the wireless adapter. What a great TV!
Summary: I am now 64 years of age and have purchased Panasonic products for more than 30 years. EACH of them has provided exceptional service and the product support has been outstanding. This tv is no exception. GREAT. For example, I have purchased four televisions, a stereo receiver, toaster oven, breadmaker, still AND video cameras, clock radio, CD and ipod player, portable radios, etc, etc. This television is truly miraculous for the price I paid. Now for service.
Summary: Bought this to replace a DLP tv. I already had a Panasonic Plasma and I love the picture quality on it. That made my natural choice another Panasonic. Amazon had a great pre super bowl price and I bought it. Set the picture controls to Cinema, and in the advance setting 'MOTION PICTURE SETTINGS' to "OFF". This will take care of the cheap look they refer to as SOAP OPERA EFFECT.
