Summary: Worst packaging I have ever seen in my life. the box had a lot of damages outside. The T.V. has a big bump on the back due to bad shipment. However, the picture quality of this tv is Very good. I would have kept the tv if it didn't have any physical damages. What's wrong Panasonic? they should spend more for packaging such a good quality tv.
Summary: I have a 42" & 46" panasonic plasma tvs and the picture is about the same with the plasma being slightly better. The sound is not comparable at all. Poor! I was surprised to see how small the tv is; much smaller than my current 46". I should have checked it out first as I could have purchased a larger set. Customer service is terrible. I was missing screws for the stand and called. First told to mail a request w/copy of tv receipt.
Summary: We thought when we purchased this TV that is was a matter of plugging it in and setting up the Wifi. WRONG. It is not like the VIZIO as with the VIZIO, its just a matter of entering your password from your router and you are connected. Panasonic found a way of screwing the consumers by not making thier TV easy wifi connect. You have to buy an extra part in order to be able to use all the features on the TV.
Summary: This is my first HDTV purchase. I waited a long time for them to come down in price, and am very happy with this TV so far. I've had it for about 3 weeks now and it is working great. I've watched various movies, the Euro Cup games, MLB All-star game, etc. As many have pointed out, it has a great picture, but may need some tweeking to get it how you want. This isn't hard to do if you have basic technology skills (i.e.
Summary: I started my HDTV buying journey a little over a month ago. The first model I bought was a Panasonic TC-L42E5, which in retrospect was a fine TV. It was my mistake to order something too small for my room, so I returned it in favor of its bigger brother, the TC-L47E50. When the box arrived at my doorstep, everything looked fine upon first inspection. The cardboard was in good shape and all the styrofoam blocks inside were right where they should be.
