Summary: We happened to buy this item at the right time and it was an excellent purchase. The quality is excellent, set up was easy and delivery was fast. There is a review on here which gives an excellent guide to setting the settings for the best picture. If you are using the stand it does lean forward slightly, and this appears to be by design. Really recommend this item. It's everything in the description and more.
Summary: I am very satisfied with this purchase. The quality of TV and on board sound is very good. This is my first LED, so it may just be that. As far as the extra features is concerned, this TV comes with a handful of apps for movies and shows but you cannot add or delete them so you're stuck with what you get.
Summary: This TV was replacing a Hitachi 55" LED from Sam's. The picture on this Panasonic was a night and day improvement over the Hitachi. Great viewing angles (which is why the Hitachi went back) and the picture right out of the box required barely any adjustments. The speakers do sound a little boxy from time to time but not too bad. I don't like that the TV shares an audio input for both the PC and component inputs, no good but my mistake for not catching it.
Summary: I very much like the TV but Panasonic could do better with a firmware update. The Only audio output is via optical cable. That is not a real problem except the data format changes based on input and can't be locked to Dolby or PCM. so every time I want to run the audio through the Onkyo receiver there are extra settings to change.
Summary: I knew I would be getting a second TV in 2012 and thanks to a slick deal, I got this one. It's bright, doesn't take forever to turn on, it's thin, it's LED. The only downside to this is that I can't hook up my somewhat low-end logitech speakers. There is no analog audio out. At some point I have to buy new speaker system or an optical to analog converter.....boo. The internal speakers are adequate for casual video games and most TV shows.
Summary: As for being a TV it is fine, but it isn't what they say it is, it is a LCD and not a LED the picture is fine the back light dose help it, and the speckers face the back and it is a little hard to understand it and it maks it sound off track, and if you asd a specker bar the sound gets even worse.
Summary: I gave this product 4 stars because the default settings, as others have mentioned, leave a lot to be desired. Thanks to another Amazon review, I was able to adjust the TV to a quality that I'd expect; I did make my own tweaks, upping the brightness and color. Another drawback is the need to plug in the TV via ethernet versus allowing a wireless connection; however, I always prefer wired connections, but I think it is worth mentioning.
Summary: Good quality on the exterior with a good solid stand. The external surfaces have a shiney finish that reflects external light, which can be distracting. Picture quality is ok but is choppy with fast moving pictures, probably due to 60Hz. Sound is the biggest let down, appears very underpowered (tinny) so expect to buy a sound bar. But it is a low cost, albeit branded TV.
