Summary: Got it as a gift for a loved one for X Mas. No complaints from the loved one. Was actually a pretty light TV and not hard to move the box, more awkward than heavy. If it was still available I would recommend it to others for what Amazon charged at the time, good value.
Summary: My family has used this t.v. for about 9 months now and we are more than happy with it. Clear image, good sound, and cheap! We purchased using amazon prime, and I'm still astonished that this 42" t.v. was shipped for free. For a family of casual t.v. watchers, and gamers this has been a great buy.
Summary: Have had the TV for about 6 months now. It has a great crisp picture picture, good sound, has good picture even in a well lit room and even with the sun shining on it when i have my windows open. Only thing I dont like about it is the slight high pitch noise when you first turn it on but goes away after a minute. Delivered on time and undamaged.
Summary: For a low price and movie watching TV, this TV is great. I have it attached to my PS3 so that I can watch movies on it. I use it in a dark room with a 90 lumen light behind it so that I can watch without other lights. To get a great picture out of this TV you definately need to calibrate it either using free tools or purchased. I used DVE HD Basics blueray to calibrate and I get great results for movies.
Pros: Sharp clear picture(when calibrated), plenty of customizable controls
Cons: Would be nice to be able to adjust RGB separate colors
Summary: We have been on the lookout for a new HDTV to replace our 7 year old EDTV for a while now. After several months of research, we purchased a Samsung LED but after a few days, we hated it and returned it. Back to the drawing board. We wanted to stick with Panasonic and preferably plasma but unfortunately, a good 90% of 2012 models of all televisions only come with 2 HDMI now (why, we don't understand). We need 4 HMDI ports!
