Summary: I brought this TV in March and am very pleased with my purchase. I had to return the first one Amazon sent me because the reds were more pinkish than red (which is why I removed a star). Amazon has a painless return policy so it was no problem returning it. Love the fact that it's an IPS screen. There's no color washout at different angles, and color reproduction is very accurate.
Summary: First off, this is a 60hz, Panasonic claims as 180 BLS isn't really comparable to 120hz, in case if you are wondering or confused. USB Port DOES NOT READ USB-powered-HDD, don't blame the TV, it says clearly, Thumb Drive or SD Card ONLY. TV Remote control works well on the SONY Network MEDIA Player if you connected thru HDMI. THE BAD IS THIS TV DOES NOT HAVE RCA AUDIO OUT, the Chipset has Headphone output but This Model does not get the jack(50cents for part).
Summary: The picture is amazing and the media player is awesome. I've thrown a handful of codecs and it and so far it plays everything great... it even parses AC3 content to playback 5.1 via optical perfectly. I got this open boxed for $340 and for that price this thing can't come close to being beat. At full price it's still a great TV...
Summary: I chose this TV because the LED panel is high-quality, there are lots (4) of HDMI ports, and it was on sale. Any TV is going to have its quirks and this one is no different. Here's what I learned: --Doesn't have a headphone jack. The description says there's 1 audio line-in (mini-phone stereo 3.5 mm) jack but it's incorrect. There isn't an analog audio out either.
Summary: I bought this TV 1 week ago to replace a very good TCL 32-in LCD-TV (purchased 2 yrs ago) that simply was undersized for my living room and thought I would provide some initial impressions. My setup: - OTA antenna connected directly to the TV - Windows 7 computer directly connected to the TV - Bluray player connected via HDMI to the TV - Old-school DVD player connected via component to the TV (not used regularly) - Ethernet cable connected to the TV I don't have a...
Summary: The unit has a good picture for an LED display, handles motion well and has plenty of inputs. My knocks against it are that the included stand is very low, so you cannot place a center-channel speaker in front of the display, as its infrared sensor would be blocked. The second, more serious knock is the fact that the unit's HDMI inputs do not pass a 5.1 audio signal to the optical output.
Summary: Good external connection features, i.e., Wiifi and good picture qualities. Quality & features/price considered superior. Negatives: Must select aspect ratio for each channel. Does not appear to memorize aspect ratio for each channel selection. Convoluted way to view the channel selection. Selected unit based on specification features and potential reliability.
