Summary: I've never owned a LED LCD television before, and I researched carefully for a solid one until I settled on Panasonic TC-L42E5 42-Inch 1080p 60Hz LED-LCD TV. I am really a stickler for picture quality, and after getting it in July 2013 and after many picture adjustments, I can be safe in typing that this is by far the best television I've had. The picture is super clear and pristine. The hookups to peripherals are a snap and easy.
Summary: I brought this TV in March and am very pleased with my purchase. I had to return the first one Amazon sent me because the reds were more pinkish than red (which is why I removed a star). Amazon has a painless return policy so it was no problem returning it. Love the fact that it's an IPS screen. There's no color washout at different angles, and color reproduction is very accurate.
Summary: Great Product.. Awesome picture. low volume. I ll get external speakers. no wi-fi but I connected to my laptop through an ethernet cable and it has internet now for Netflix and hulu. I luv it.
Summary: I love this tv. It's worked well, and had no problems throughout the many moves I've had with it. Has great picture quality, and plenty of inputs. Only weird thing was the adapter for component/composite, but it's not bad.
Summary: We were replacing an older Sharp LCD TV (about 7 years old) with this Panasonic of the same size. The picture quallity is very good, a slight tendancy to be on the "dark side" no matter how it is adjusted....very acceptable. The only down side is the screen....it can be used as a mirror. We purchased the LCD model because the screens are usually better (less reflection) than plasma.....and planned on using it in a room with lots of windows.
