Summary: I admit I was skeptical when I hadn't heard of a DLP before, But this TV at 73" and at this price, is well worth it and much Better than any Plasma or LCD I've had. I like it even better than my 52" LED TV in the bedroom (which cost a fortune waaaay more than this one) because that extra 21" makes a huge difference. Especially for football games!
Summary: I was very skeptical that this size TV in this price range could be any good. I received the TV very fast and it was very well packed. I set it up and was ready to be disappointed. The picture quality is surprisingly good. It is not as good as a smaller LCD when watching regular TV but it is very good. Football looks great. Bluray movies are fantastic.
Don't be a fool by buying LCDs for gaming and big screens.

Excerpt: I bought the Mitsubishi WD73638 after reading a lot about LCD technology. I couldn't see a particular value in buying LCD unless you wanted to hook the TV up to a computer and use the TV as your monitor. I looked at plasma TVs after that and the technology was much improved (less image retention for one) but the screen sizes still didn't run quite as big as I wanted and they were just as expensive as LCD TVs.
Summary: The TV is an excellent value compared to tv's of comparable size. The color is bright and sound is clear. We had no difficulty with setup to our cable system. The light-weight made it easy to move onto our television stand despite it's size. The seller provided prompt and courteous service. I would recommend both the product and this seller for future transactions.
Summary: After we placed the order for the Mitsubishi 73 inch TV, we received a call from Chris Shatto with guide lines and delivery information. Not only was he very personable, he was helpful in answering all my questions. He providing me with information that helped with the set up when the TV arrived. Chris also instructed us on the steps to take to protect us in the event the TV would arrive damaged. Every day we received an email tracking the location of our TV.
Summary: I bought this TV almost a year ago. I am still amazed at the picture quality. I was told that I would have to replace the bulb about once a year because it would start to dim out a bit, but I just replaced it and there is no difference at all (no dimming). This is by far the best investment I have made when it comes to electronics. The only bad thing about this tv is the sound quality.
Summary: Bought this tv last year for $1199.00 at Nebraska Furniture Mart and could not be happier. Kids love xbox, wii, and movies are awesome. My second Mitsubishi, had to get a new one when my old CRT Diamond Vision 65" Mitsubishi finally started to cough after 8 years of many hours of enjoyment.
Summary: My boyfriend and I are familiar with the Mitsubishi 60" DLP that was manufactured in 2010. We were ready to purchase one but found that the price for the 73" was the same as what we were expecting for the 60". This TV is very large and a bracketed stand that is large enough to support this TV should be bracketed to the wall to prevent tipping of the TV. I would recommend this to someone who has a house or a very level and sturdy floor. Product is energy efficient.
Summary: great TV for the price. takes about a minute to come on, so if you are someone with no patience this might not be for you. You cannot hook up to a universal remote, so you have at least three remotes that you have to use. A very small inconvenience to get this TV for 1/3 the price of most TV's this size. Picture and sound is awesome. I have the 3D ready model but have no plans to connect this feature.
