Don't be a fool by buying LCDs for gaming and big screens.

Excerpt: I bought the Mitsubishi WD73638 after reading a lot about LCD technology. I couldn't see a particular value in buying LCD unless you wanted to hook the TV up to a computer and use the TV as your monitor. I looked at plasma TVs after that and the technology was much improved (less image retention for one) but the screen sizes still didn't run quite as big as I wanted and they were just as expensive as LCD TVs.
Summary: I absolutely love this tv. Great picture, multiple inputs 3 hdmi spots is key. This tv is almost to big to view all at once. I find myself watching sections of the tv instead of the whole thing. I have yet to purchase the 3D accessory, not being a huge fan of 3D but I'm sure this tv would not miss a beat. One (very small) negative is the tv takes a little time switching channels, inputs, and when the tv is first powered on.
Summary: I'm really happy with the quality of this TV. I remember when my wife ask me to buy this TV at Cosco. I thought, it would not be as sharp as the the new LED HD TV. But, since my wife want it so bad I've decided to take one home to try out with blue ray DVD. I was immaze with its image quality. Excellent quality, I'd say if you like to have a home theater set you should pick this beast up and try your self. You'll see what I'm talking bout.
