OUTSTANDING DLP. The last flagship 65" DLP. Best TV of 2011 and 2012

Z, Amazon
16 October 2011
  • Summary: I spent about a month researching and auditioning TVs. I couldn't find a single Plasma TV which I liked. I noticed the flicker on all of them. LEDs and LCDs were too artificial in appearance and grew irritating on my eyes. The WD-65838 was the clear winner. The screen is so cinematic.

Great buy

William J. Dorcey, Amazon
22 August 2011
  • Summary: This was a great buy. Like the picture quality and so far everything about the TV. One thing about this TV is that if you intent to watch 3d you must buy 3D glasses that come with an IR-emitter that plugs into the back of the TV so the 3D signal ca be sent to the glasses.

Mitsubish Diamond

arizonafanatic, Amazon
10 May 2011
  • Summary: My 1st Mitsubishi Diamond series was/is a diamond jewel. It has had zero problems in 11yrs, although the support at the thime was only 480 and 960i. It has given me a steady and dependable service all this time, and I sleep with the TV on, so the lamp life has been incredible.

RioFastRacer, Amazon
30 March 2011
  • Summary: I snagged this TV at a great price for the family room and it is spectacular. Big, Bold and great picture. I also bought the Samsung UN55C8000 for my own personal war room and I hate to admit it but picture on the Mitsu looks better alot of times than the Samsung LED depending on the content.

Michael J. Brown, Amazon
9 January 2011
  • Summary: When i found out that a 65 inch, HD, 3D, surround sound tv could be owned for less that $1600(i paid 1588 exactly on ebay), i thought it was too good to be true. First off, I had no interest in buying a DLP.
