Summary: Like a previous poster said people snide at the dlp but who cares, I have a 65" movie theater at the foot of my bed and they are squinting at their 32". I have owned two 65" dlps over 6 years. The first one was robbed from my house. I never had an issue with it, I was heartbroken. So I bought another one it was used but a model newer and it was amazing! Great picture, plenty of options to optimize viewing.
Summary: Purchased this projection tv as a replacement to our then waning and retiring Mitsubishi VS model. Instantly recognized the vibrant and crisp color difference. I had seen this model the previous year at CES las vegas and was proud to have this in my home. Today more than 4 years later, it is our main television with blue ray and dvd hooked up with solid performance. It recognizes new devices (if plugged in) within 30secs and setting it up was a breeze.
Excerpt: I purchased this TV for my husband for Christmas. It is located in our den. He watches this TV and no other TV in the house. He refused the watch an of our other TVs because of their size. We purchased the Mitsubishi 72" TV, and he now prefers to all others. He watches movies, plays his video games on them, and even accesses the internet (using his game system) on the TV. I do not believe my husband could live without this TV now that he has purchased it.
mitsubishi, a good choice, but could have done better
9 September 2012
Excerpt: I got my mitsubishi for a great price, but i now go and look at t.v.s and see the clarity of other brands and wish i would have gone with something different, but i can still do that and just use this as a secondary television. The picture could be clearer, and like any television, the warrenty is up and everything goes wrong with it that month.
Summary: AT FIRST, WE WERE NOT TOO SURE, EVEN THOUGH OF SENDING IT BACK GOOD THING , WE DID NOT, BEST PURCHASE EVER MADE, EVERYONE COMING TO VISIT , CANNOT GOT OVER THE CLARITY, PICTURE AND EVEN THE SOUND WOULD RECOMMEND,
Summary: I have a 2006 Toshiba 56" dlp and let me tell you I have had nothing but trouble with it. I have gone through at least 8 bulbs in the time I have owned it. So when I was deciding to buy another tv, I was apprehensive on purchasing another dlp tv. Now the i have had the tv since the end of march 2011, I love it!!!!!
no picture, no sound, and customer service doesnt care
14 February 2011
Summary: BEEN 1 WEEK SINCE TV WOULD TURN ON. 2.5 MONTH OLD TVS SHOULD NOT JUST QUIT,IT DID. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A JOKE. SHOPNBC DEL.TV IN 3 DAYS. MITSUBISHI TAKES 7 DAYS TO SHIP 10 DOLLAR PART TO SERVICEMAN,WHEN IT COULD HAVE BEEN OVERNIGHTED & TV REPAIRED BEFORE THE WEEKEND. I COULD SEE THIS PROBLEM TAKING 3 OR 4 DAYS TO RESOLVE, BUT A WEEK & STILL NOT KNOWING WHEN A SERVICE MAN WILL BE OUT SEEMS A BIT LIKE MITSUBISHI COULD CARE LESS ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS.AFTER MUCH PHONE...
Summary: We purchased this TV on Shop NBC in 2008. I cannot believe how beautiful the picture is. Contrary to what the experts say this TV is as good as a Plasma at 1/4th the cost. So the only thing that makes the Plasma different besides the technology is that you can hang it on the wall and pay 3 to 4 times more for it. To have this kind of picture for this price is awesome! I would own this TV over and over again.
Summary: My sister and Brother-in-Law bought one of these a few weeks ago, replacing an old Sony, 55" projection set. I can't believe the picture quality!! He has it connected to a separate sound system so the sound quality of the actual tv speakers is not that important. I own the 60" version of the C9 series myself, and it looks just great also!! You cannot beat the price/performance ratio these sets have to offer.
Summary: Two weeks running and everything fine so far. Just what we wanted. Remote sort of funky to operate (small up/down - rt/left buttons) Used USB to view pictures on big screen (neat feature) Thanks ONECALL
