Summary: Drop dead beautiful picture --- but take note. White dots will appear on the tv, and based on google searches this pixel issue is a common problem for wd-60737 owners. My tv got them and then they began to multiply, seriously interfering with the image.
Summary: This is a great set overall. We have been using it as our main set for the past 4 months and have no issues with it. The main thing is the picture which is super; whether using our satellite, DVD or blue-ray. Sound quality is OK; not great but certainly not bad.
Summary: ...OK just moved so 2 new TVs, I was back and forth on the Mits 60in or 58in Samsung plasma for the living room. I read all the reviews, looked at plasma,LCD...the answer seemed to easy,I wasn't hanging it on the wall so being 16inches deep didn't matter on my ent unit.
Summary: The reason I'm writing this is to WARN everybody reading the other reviews. The Mitsubishi WD-60737 came out early to mid June 2010. There are many reviews here that were written before that date. Some, at least a year ago.
Summary: This TV has a great picture and is 3D ready. DLP is a great value. They're not flat, but at only 15inches at the base, not bulky either. My wife and I easily carried this TV upstairs. I'm glad we like it because I bought it unseen, since no stores around here carry DLP.
Summary: It's a very nice tv for the price. I have my computer connected up to it, and play games, dvd's and stream movies in 1080x1920 with no problem. It gives sharp images, and it's contrast is as good as the lcd monitor I have.
Summary: I purchased this item on April 1st from Amazon.com for $1,199.00. The picture on the Mitsubishi 60737 is AMAZING!! I really honestly feel like its right up there with some of the better LCD displays I have seen. The sound is also pretty darn good for a Big Screen TV.
Summary: The HD picture is amazing, especially for sports. The standard definition picture is acceptable. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase. I have no complaints about the picture quality, which I think is the most important aspect of a TV, and I feel like I got a good deal on the price through Amazon.
Summary: The TV looks amazing. I am blow away by how far DLPs have come in the last few years. It's a shame they are dying out. I know plasma has better black levels and contrast, but for the price, DLPs can't be beat. The picture quality is really amazing.
Summary: I bought this TV about a month ago, and so far it has been amazing. The picture quality is very good; the black is very black and the whites are very white. HD TV and HD movies look very good. I would defiantly recommend this TV to anyone looking for a new HDTV.
