Loved it since the day I bought it and have never regretted my purchase
30 September 2011
Summary: I owned one of these since they were first introduced. Have loved this tv ever since. The guy that says 3 bulbs a year is inaccurate. I have replaced the bulb twice in 4 years and the second was just a month ago. The tv have never overheated, never shut off never given me anything but a great picture. The only issue I'm having is with the remote, it may be time for a new remote.
Summary: I was thoroughly impressed with this TV's picture right out of the box. Crystal clear and truly a joy to watch. The bulb went out after 1 1/2 to 2 years and the bulbs are expensive, so that is the only downside I've seen.
Summary: This is a beautiful tv in every way. The picture is crisp and vivid, The case is a little bulky but is fine from the angle of viewing. And the only thing that goes wrong with it is the bulbs go out, but are fairly inexpensive and can be repaired in the home yourself with a minimal amount of knowlege. I love these sets so much I've bought 2 of them, this 57" and a 65". Awesome super bowl viewing.
Summary: I purchased the WD57731 from The Big Screen Store in August 2006. In November 2007 the light engine died. It took two weeks for the tech to come to the house to inform me that he couldn't fix it there. Two weeks later, I get a call informing me that the parts were backordered. The TV was not repaired until January 2008. Now, in September 2008, the TV won't even turn on. I've tried the unplug overnight trick and the reset button trick.
Summary: We received this tv about a month ago and all I can say is Wow! I love the color, especially the HD channels, they are so sharp. We had shopped for a big screen for a few weeks and finally decided on the Mitsubishi 57" DLP. I am happy with our choice. Especially since it was alot cheaper on Amazon than buying it at Best Buy or Circuit City, and with free shipping! This is our first big screen TV, and have no regrets choosing the Mistsubishi - It's a great TV!
Summary: This TV is awesome. Picture is unbelievable, don't even need to get eye glasses now (saved on that). Paid $1,630, free delivery. It is a big TV, but then again, do you really want anything smaller? Got a nice 61" Oak Stand at Bernie & Phlys for $400 (about what I saved from not buying this TV from Circuit City (they wanted $1999)) and it fits perfect.
Bought this when it first came out in 6/06 but lamp and tv both out

Summary: Really happy with everything...but not even one year and the lamp burned out and tv won't turn on. It's on about less than 3 hours a day! Very disappointing, thank God I live in Los Angeles where there are services techs available...just hope it all works out!
