Overall this is a great LCD television... for the family room or anywhere EXCEPT the bedroom! Great picture for the price, but that red LED glares in the night, keeping spouses awake and frightening small children. Memorex will admit the manual is wrong, but has no solutions. Overall, great value for the price. Read more

I hook this up to my laptop often to watch streams of sports. The issue is that the picture on the TV is noticeably darker around the edges. Making the picture brighter doesn't change that unfortunately. Adjusting the brightness settings seems to really only increase what is already bright. But the TV by itself is good. Read more

The TV worked great for a while, I've had it for a year now and all of a sudden my universal remote wont work and the remote that came with it will only work 1/2 the time. I will have to press the power button 4 or 5 times for it to come on, and the only other buttons that work act like they get stuck down, they are the mute, the channel, and the input. I've tried muting it and it starts muting and un-muting repeatedly. Read more
