Excerpt: This tv we bought at Sams. We really liked that it was a combo. We dont have a lot of extra space in our home with a small home (was a 1 bedroom now a 3) and a family of 5! So the combo was our best option. We previously had a magnavox flat screen with dvd combo and had issues... but we went back to this and we have had minor issues. The picture is good on the tv. The quality for the blu ray is nice.
Excerpt: We love our Magnavox 42 inch Blue Ray/TV combo. It is just the right size, not too big but big enough to really see the picture well. It has the clearest picture of any tv we have ever owned. We love the blue ray player as well. It does sometimes freeze up, but not often, very rarely actually. Has only happened twice in the last year. I love that you turn the TV on and it is almost instantaneous with only about a second delay.I also love that is fairly light weight.
Summary: This is a great almost top of the line TV for those on a budget. It has a superior picture (1078p) and the built in Blu-Ray works great. The only complaint I have is there is a longer "pause" between changing channels than I am used to having. Change the channel and count to three before the next channel comes in. But beyond this minor gripe, we love it. To get the equivalent elsewhere you most often would spend $300-$400 more.
Summary: The TV is great! Clear and sharp, great color, sound is good. The unit does not have built in Blu-ray though. I was told the add was incorrect and given the oppurtunity to get a refund, but chose to accept it and got a reduction in price.
