Summary: HATE IT!... Quality sucks and over time it has progressively gotten worse resolution wise. It goes out of 1080p to 720p constantly and the screen is distorted and blurred with word documents and pdf files. Basic.... Square Trade warranty a joke. Pushed us back to Magnavox and then cannot get any further due to a vacation cruise line offer.
Summary: Bought this TV for my Father that does not get out much any more- he reviewed TVs on line and found this was what he wanted, i then found it on Amazon, placed the order and it is as expected. The delivery was longer than expected, but that was alright as it was not a Christmas gift. Easy set up, works great!
Summary: I have never felt that Amazon was misguiding it's customers until now. This add clearly states, "TV Formats Supported: 1080p, 1080i, 720p, 480p, 480i," and this is true however, for the common t.v. consumers they probably don't know what this means. Fact, this t.v. has a 720p resolution and not 1080p.
Summary: Magnavox and Funai Service are manufacturing and avoiding at all cost to service these faulty TV's. After 11 months and only a dozen or so hours of use the TV is dead. No power and the fuse on the main board just blows. Have been told over phone my warranty is out, since when is a 12month wrnty expire in 11 mo? Have 2 phone calls a failed fax and 3 e-mails with no repair yet. BTW: I bought this TV from Sam's Club.
Summary: WARNING. 5 weeks ago I received a Magnavox 32" flat panel TV as a gift. I was the first person to open the box. I mounted it on the wall and it has been used exactly 1.75 times. My stepdaughter watched a movie on it three weeks ago. Thursday, she watch 3/4s of a movie when the screen went black. Tried other outlets and it still will not work. I contacted Magnavox customer service and was told that, according to the serial number, the tv was out of warranty.
