Summary: I have had my LG monitor now for a few months and am delighted with it. I have it connected to my PC via HDMI and get an extremely good, sharp picture at a resolution of 1920 x 1080 so couldn't really ask for any better. Also, the fact that it has inbuilt Freeview tuner (albeit not HD) is an added bonus.
Summary: Bought this as a second screen for my home office. Wanted built in Freeview for TV watching and two HDMI sockets lets me hook up my Macbook Pro and my Roku media player. Picture in Picture is another handy feature letting we watch TV in a small window as I work. Sound quality is more than acceptable for TV viewing and remote control is well laid out and very responsive. Highly recommnended.
Summary: Blacks are black, whites are white. So much better than my other monitor, just beside it. Be careful, LG called the whole family M2*52D, but only this (23") and the 27" are IPS. It's got 2x HDMIs, so I could connect both my computer and sky box and not have to worry about sound, etc. It was easy to set up, just turn it on, select the input and done.
Summary: This is a fantastic TV and the picture quality is great given the price. The price found on amazon is the best I could find as I've looked everywhere else and they usually sell for between £30 to £40 more.
Summary: Proved to be a good picture, reasonably viewable both for angle of view and background light levels. I have used in combination with a PC to record TV. Slightly frustrated that Windows 7 will not allow you to use the sound card on the PC. But that is Windows 7 not this screen ! It either sends everything to the HDMI cable, and relies on the speakers in the screen . . . and I am loathe to run it on a VGA cable, it is a very good picture on the HD cable.
Summary: Was recommended this by my sister said it was a good make. If you view from the side picture is not true and no off button so stays on standby until you switch it off at the socket. Instructions not very good but as it was purchased for the bedroom I will keep it.
Good Quality Product With One Disappointing Feature

Summary: This is the first time I have ever wrote anything bad about any product, and being 70 years old you can be sure that I have brought a lot of products in my time. Normally, if I am not 100% happy with a product I will send it back without writing any review, but this product was so good that I just had to keep. So why am I complaining? Well upon opening the package my heart sank because the first thing I saw was the mains lead.
Summary: The picture and sound quality is good. It was bought as a TV for the bedroom and it serves its purpose well. The only thing that the other half complains about is the back light showing too much around the corners and bleeding onto the screen, but in fairness i wouldnt have really noticed it.
Summary: I bought this so as to have a TV capable monitor to encourage my son to get using his Raspberry Pi . . . It has been used as a monitor in which role it's fine, capable of getting several A4 pages simultaneously readable, as a DVD playback screen in which role its fine in a small room, the speakers are not up to filling a larger room unaided, and it has been used as a TV . . .
