The LG 47LE7500 is a 47 inch LED TV that supports Full HD 1080p output in its form factor. The Full LED Slim technology HDTV (via its backlight structure) supports Local Dimming, TruMotion 120Hz, THX Display Certification, comes with NetCast Entertainment Access, DLNA, wireless broadband ready capabilities, wireless HD ready and 2 USB ports.

Features

The LG 47LE7500 LED TV supports Full LED Slim technology with detailed local dimming of up to 240 addressable segments resulting in deeper black levels and uniform picture quality. It is also a THX Display certified unit which means the HDTV has the ability to provide users with the correct gamma, luminance, and color temperature. This recreates cinema experience at home. The HDTV includes the “THX Bright Room” setting which optimizes the contrast, gamma and other settings for watching movies in rooms with a lot of ambient light. The slim form factor on the LG 47LE7500 is designed in a single, edge-to-edge panel of glass and incorporates TruMotion 120Hz for reduced motion blur during fast moving action sequences. Other features on the LG 47LE7500 includes NetCast Entertainment Access™ that lets users access content sites such as Skype™, Netflix™, VUDU™, YouTube™, Napster™ and Yahoo! Widgets™; Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) technology that lets users access content stored on other DLNA-certified devices within the home, such as computers; wired Ethernet jack that enables users to integrate NetCast-enabled sets into a wireless home network by using a USB wireless broadband adaptor (sold separately). This then supports multi-media playback from a connected USB device including photos (JPEG), music (MP3) and video (DivX HD).The NetCast feature also provides wireless Full HD 1080p wireless transmission from a “Wireless Media Hub” from up to 98 feet. By connecting source components, such as Blu-ray players, cable or satellite boxes and video games to the media hub enables transmission to a compact receiver adaptor, which can then be attached to the back of the TV, users can access entertainment content without the wires. • Remote control does not control TV

Remote control does not control TV after connecting my laptop to TV with HDMI cable. I can control volume for instance if I push the volume up or down button repeatedly. One push changes one number in volume control. Same for accessing Menu. Have to push several times before I can access to Menu.
