LG 84LM960V review

expertreviews.co.uk
28 June 2013
  • Excerpt: While many are still upgrading their TVs to Full HD sets with a 1,920x1,080 resolution, Ultra HD TVs are now a commercial reality, although you’d have to be pretty wealthy to buy one. Ultra HD TVs have twice the maximum resolution of Full HD TVs, at 3,840x2,160, which means they can display greater detail and produce more realistic images. Due to the increased resolution, Ultra HD TVs are also known as 4K TVs, and we’ll use the terms interchangeably.

LG 84LM960V

TechRadar UK
19 December 2012
  • Conclusion: The LG 84LM960V may be unfeasibly huge, but you'll want to sit close because it looks so good. As a Ultra HD future-proofed display, it's well ahead of its time. With Ultra HD content, the TV's fine detail performance is phenomenal. Fingers crossed the incoming HEVC codec will maintain all this thigh-slapping clarity without any obvious sacrifices.

Test Fernseher: LG 84LM960V UHD LCD 3D-TV

av-magazin.de
21 August 2013
