Summary: All in all, it's an impressive set. For the price it was hard to beat.
Pros: It's huge and the price was incredible. The passive 3d glasses are so much better than shutters, IMO. The colors and brightness are good. The sound isn't too bad. 65" is giant and the frame is nice looking. The special wii-like remote is pretty neat. All in all I really like this tv.
Cons: The sound isn't that bad, but when turned up loud the metal back on the panel vibrates. Not sure if this happens when mounted to a wall. The base that came with it was damaged, but again, we're mounting this on the wall without using the base so we don't care. There is a little light bleeding and...
Summary: We are very impressed with this TV. Husband loves watching his sports. The only suggestion would be to go back to the matte screen. Our 55" had this. The shiny black screen reflects too much light and not as viewable when lots of light in room.
3D is AMAZING! 2D is decent, but not as stellar as 3D.

Summary: I have had this tv for a month or so now and have run it through the paces in both 2D and 3D. The 3D on this set is just plain amazing. It is the best 3D I seen (movie theater included). It's easy on the eyes, and is very clear with little to no cross talk.
Summary: I just had this delivered and I thought I'd provide some initial information about the delivery and setup experience. I ordered this TV from Amazon even though there were other vendors that offered the unit for a few bucks cheaper.
Summary: The LG 65LW6500 has a great 3D picture and exceeded my expections. The picture is clear and bright. The 3D is awesome and when connected to an LG home theater system, the two co-ordinate remote control functions so that only one remote is necessary for the most part. There was only one glitch.
Summary: Giving it 4 stars for because of Audio. but Audio on most of these big tv is poor 10W.
Pros: Picture quality and passive 3D are awesome. DLNA support is good(mpeg, AVCHD). Havent played with online content much but its there and there is virtual keyboard on screen but they could have just allowed us to connect a physical keyboard to USB.
Cons: Audio is poor. At full volume the audio is not sufficient at 15 feet. Come-on they skimped on audio. Optical , LAN connections should be on side too. Some bleeding of light a the edges but fact that this is edge lit, i accept it. No Pandora. Optical audio pass-thro is stereo only.
Summary: After about 3 weeks I noticed a cloud like effect bleeding through on dark scenes. I tried to contact LG service. Their phone lines were down ,and the chat line closed ,I emailed with picture of the problem ( no answer for 4-5 days ) I then emailed Amazon with my problem ,with in a hour I got a...
Summary: This is a nice TV but it has some flaws. Unfortunately all 3D televisions sold at this time have flaws so you have to pick your battles. I was torn between the 65 inch Panasonic Plasma or this set as both are about the same price.
Summary: So, I have the 65lw6500 I got from here. Delivered no problem in one week. It replaced an LG 55LH90. Here are my thoughts after a few days with it in no particular order. By the way, a little background on me....used to be REALLY into home theater, then I got married, so now I just enjoy it.
