Summary: Wants you to set up using a "Magic Remote" but it doesn't come with the tv. Also would be better if had a second set of component inputs. Has 3 HDMIs but 2 are located in the area where my wall mount support bar is. If you have a simple set up with a surround sound and a cable box, use the HDMI input for the video and hook up the sound through the surround sound system using component inputs for the sound. Also, make sure you use the ferrite cores on your input cords.
Pros: Attractive Design, Good Resolution, Great Picture Quality
Summary: Upgraded to this model when my 50 inch TV was ruined by lightning. This TV has excellent color, sound, and was easy to set up, however, it has minimal connections for DVD/VHS players, games, etc. I had to buy a new DVD/VHS player in order to watch DVDs or VHS tapes, one that had a HDMI hook up.
Pros: Attractive Design, Energy Efficient, Fast Setup, Good Remote Control, Good Resolution, Great Picture Quality, Great Sound Quality, Reduced Glare
A long relationship?, LG Electronics Ratings and Reviews
29 July 2014
Summary: Reviews indicated great picture. So so when I plugged it in but after a few days of "fine tuning" the picture is very good. I have not been able to connect an older home theatre system to the audio although it worked with a late model 55" Vizio. Probably something I'm missing on hook up. Need to call LG techs I guess. I like the way it updates the Smart TV program on a regular basis.
