Summary: This TV is great. Color, sharpness and lighting are all great. Couldn't ask for a better TV for any price. Even when in bright lighting I couldn't see what the fuss was about? No problem seeing in all lighting. I love this tv!!!
Summary: The picture quality is very good. As someone else suggested, we bought the $20 Samsung glasses and they work perfectly well with this TV. 3D is really great, though 2D to 3D conversion is a joke. I bought a BH6830SW 1000 Watt Blu-ray Home Theater System and together, it is almost a cinema experience watching both 2D and 3D. I like the way it seamlessly integrates with all other devices at my home - including our iphone and android phones.
Summary: First off I rarely write reviews. But so many of the reviews I read before selecting this TV have been helpful I felt the need to give a little back. A little background, TV used almost 95% for full screen TV and movies. TV is almost never for games, located in a basement, so light control is not a problem. Electronics are my friend, so setups, etc. are never a problem. Overly struggled with selecting a new TV for the man cave. First off 60" vs 65".
Summary: Bought this almost two months ago. Took a while for me to make up my mind, mainly concerning the perceived risk of burn in- and all the talk of how to avoid it. So far all the scare stuff seems to be much about nothing. The picture is great. That is to say not as bright as an led but the color is true and deep. Can't beat it in a dark room. 3d is ok but how much would anyone watch. Bought the Samsung glasses for around 20$ and they work fine.
Summary: I was shopping for a new set for a new home. I had started looking at 55 inch sets and was pretty sure I'd get a Vizio. I went from considering a 120hz Vizio to a 240 hz Vizio and then wanting 3d capabilities just for fun. The best price I could find was close to $1,200. This set showed up in a web search for an amazing price of $899. I read the reviews and everything that folks had to say that was good turned out to be true.
