Summary: The TV overall, the picture, and the SMART functions are awesome. The only reason for 4 stars is the sound quality. Overall the quality is fine, but when playing a game or a movie that has music AND talking at the same time, the SmartSound screws it up. Not to the point where it is unwatchable/unplayable, but for example Rock Band (singing) has a terrible echo. Overall, I LOVE this TV for the price. A total steal.
Summary: I prefer this to my LCD any day. The colors are awesome and the apps operate well. Most importantly, the huge screen size really immerses me in the movies. I actually feel like I'm in the porno.
Summary: This TV is great. Color, sharpness and lighting are all great. Couldn't ask for a better TV for any price. Even when in bright lighting I couldn't see what the fuss was about? No problem seeing in all lighting. I love this tv!!!
TV is OK. Active 3D is definitely a big waist of money.

Summary: Over all TV is OK. Good colors regardless whether its light or dark. Sound is just OK. Definitely needs extra speakers. Reflection is just horrible. Its like looking in a mirror. Active 3D sucks. Glasses battery operated and very expensive with horrible glare. You really need to be a room with no lights at all to actually make it some what acceptable. I had compare this to 47" LG (LED) with none-active 3D and 3D is way better.
Summary: This is a decent TV and I would say it's a very good buy at $850 I paid. The Pros: Price Lots of features Picture in less than medium light Convenient voice recognition LG customer service (had to upgrade firmware) Cons: Slow, slow, slow wireless and smart interface - it's faster to stream YouTube from my phone to the TV than deal with interrupted video and tedious search options on the set.
Summary: The picture quality is very good. As someone else suggested, we bought the $20 Samsung glasses and they work perfectly well with this TV. 3D is really great, though 2D to 3D conversion is a joke. I bought a BH6830SW 1000 Watt Blu-ray Home Theater System and together, it is almost a cinema experience watching both 2D and 3D. I like the way it seamlessly integrates with all other devices at my home - including our iphone and android phones.
Summary: If half stars were available, I would have given it 3 1/2 because of some glitches in getting WiFi to work seamlessly. Had to go through many iterations to connect and download software upgrade. But it's finally working. Also can't get Smart Remote to recognize my STB but that may be something I'm doing. Will keep working at it. Overall though satisfied - great picture, adequate sound. Lots of options that I haven 't played with yet, so the rating could go up.
Summary: First off I rarely write reviews. But so many of the reviews I read before selecting this TV have been helpful I felt the need to give a little back. A little background, TV used almost 95% for full screen TV and movies. TV is almost never for games, located in a basement, so light control is not a problem. Electronics are my friend, so setups, etc. are never a problem. Overly struggled with selecting a new TV for the man cave. First off 60" vs 65".
